Q: What time does the ceremony start?

A: Our ceremony will start promptly at 5:00pm! Please join us for cocktail hour/reception directly after our ceremony from 5:30-10:30pm.

Q: Will the event be indoors or outdoors?

A: Weather permitting our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will be outdoors! Please note we will be on the beautiful lawn at Branford House for the ceremony, so be mindful of your shoe choice! Dinner and other activities will be indoors in the mansion. The mansion does have A/C!

Q: What is your dress code?

A: Formal/Cocktail! We think our guests dressed up will make for great photos, but comfort comes first! Please wear what you are comfortable in.

Q: Will there be transportation?

A: Yes! We have a bus booked for guests who have booked within our room block. The bus will provide round trip transportation from hotel to venue and back. Depart time is TBD.

Q: Do you have a hotel block?

A: Yes! We have a limited room block with Mystic Marriott Hotel. You can book a room using our website and navigating to the Travel & Stay page. You may also call the hotel and book directly (860) 446-2600. Please mention the Salisbury/Forastiere room block for a discounted rate!

Q: Is there parking available at the venue?

A: Yes! Parking is available.

Q: What’s on the menu?

A: A variety of passed appetizers will be available during cocktail hour. A beef, chicken, fish, and vegetarian option will also be provided as a plated meal choice. On the RSVP there is a section allowing you to disclose any dietary issues. Of course there will be an open bar.

Q: I’m traveling to CT for the weekend, what is there to do?

A: Mystic has a lot to explore! We love Sift Bakery and The Engine Room. You can also visit Olde Mystic Village to shop! Mystic Aquarium or Seaport are also great options.
